About Sarah's Espresso Cafe
The Beginning
My husband, Scott, and I live in Cedar Falls. He is the fix-it guy and, if you're lucky, he might be behind the counter making your drink! He is a golf course superintendent to 5 different golf courses! Ever since I was young, I have always aspired to have my own business. Once I graduated from UNI, I immediately joined the workforce, putting my dream of owning my own business on hold. Years later, Scott started to get the process rolling, and everything started to fall into place! We were able to open our doors in December 2020 and we are able to get our coffee and espresso beans locally from Iowa Coffee Roasters!
Where We Are Now
We have moved locations and we now have partnerships with locally-owned businesses Macarons by Sani and J's Homestyle Cooking to serve you delicious pastries and treats with your drinks! We have also opened up a cocktail bar! Our energy brews are now one of our most popular items! We used to only have three flavors (blackberry, kiwi, and blue raspberry - the blackberry blast), but now we have about 20 different flavors and add-ins like lemonade and sweet and sour mix, resulting in a bunch of combinations for you to try. My baristas and I get to be creative every month, coming up with different themes and flavors of energy brews and lattes. From our specialty lattes, teas, smoothies, lemonades, and - of course - our energy brews, we have something for everyone! Find your new favorite drink today!
